Chania, one of the cities on the island of Crete, is another of the best destinations to travel to! Packed with Greek, Roman, Arab, and Venetian buildings, it is very picturesque and fascinating. In addition, it is home to the most beautiful beaches in Greece. But first things first.

One of the most famous attractions in Chania is its museums. The Maritime Museum of Crete is among the most visited. Furthermore, you have the Archaeological Museum and the National Museum of Greek Football.

Other points of interest are the Venetian port, built in 1320, and the Mosque of the Janissaries, erected in 1645. Additionally, the Chania lighthouse, with the best views! Now, let’s talk about the beaches. There’s Elafosini, known as the Greek Caribbean. Falasarna is also quite beautiful. Or, sunbathe. In addition to being gorgeous, Barcelona’s beach neighborhoods sell the best paella. Then, night fun! La Barceloneta and the Olympic Port are the best spots. If you prefer something quieter, visit Eixample.
