Unlike the on-arrival visa, you must apply for your short-term visa before traveling to Dubai. To do so, you have to enroll in a course that lasts at least 8 weeks. Then, send a copy of your passport and a passport photo to the English school, which will take care of your visa application.
The process of issuing this visa for Dubai can take approximately 4 weeks.
Long term visa
The long-term visa to study English in Dubai is valid for 1 year (it is possible to renew it if the course lasts much longer), and costs 4,775 AED* (1,300 USD*). Also, it allows you to work without any limit on hours. #Yeah!
To be eligible for this visa, you must enroll in courses of 24 weeks minimum.
As in the previous case, you must apply for your Dubai visa before traveling. Simply enroll in a course and send a copy of your passport and a passport photo to the school.
